I just acquired a Sears Gamefisher motor that is made by chrysler. I was wondering the year of it and where to get parts for these motors.

Serial Number: 3017
Model Number: 225.587151

Its a black motor and I was also wondering, does this motor shift from the tiller, because there is no shift knob anywhere.

thanks

Matt

Its most likely a direct drive . If you pull the rope and the prop turns

225 indicates manufactured by Force. My guess is it uses a lever.Look under the hood as you rotate the throttle.Chrysler became Force circa 1984/85
remainded similar.
