This guy is actually pretty smart he wants to trade junk boat for something non junk

he needs the . after the $49.
Hmmmm. Strange looking Merc. OLDER FIBERGLASS BOAT , WITH HEAVY DUTY TRAILER , NEEDS WORKS I think it would cost more to get all the parts than it would be to get a newer, better boat,
This really bothers me, and I have actually bought a boat from this guy before.
1987 Astroglass 150 XP hp *reduced*
I am probably going to stick my foot in my mouth here but I've been doing a lot of homework on these engines, and straight from the Factory 100-110 was a great compression number for these motors.
He claims to be a repair shop/mechanic to me he is blantantly lieing to people there is no way that motor has compression in the 140 range they weren't manufactured that high (this is not a racing edition motor).
I actually bought my donor boat from him he also claimed the 75 hp on mine had compression in the 140s I ran the numbers in front of him came back right around 95 and even granted it was 6 degrees outside and it was a cold number.
To me blatantly lieing to someone is worse than selling a project boat. While this motor may have compression in the 110 range on all 6 cylinders and may be perfectly acceptable he is still lieing.
