I have a hole in my permanent fuel tank and went with a removable external fuel tank and wanted to know the best way to hook it up to my inboard engine...do I run the fuel line to my fuel pump inlet...do I need a a fuel line with the primer bubble on it or will the fuel pump pull the fuel out on its own with just a straight fuel line attached...thanks for any information?

A primer bulb will not hurt and can help getting things started. Not knowing where things will be located, how it will be routed or what motor and boat, just a guess right now

I have a 1981 baretta with the 3.8L v-6 inboard... going to hook a quick release fuel line with the primer bulb straight to the fuel pump on motor from an external fuel tank
