use 2 fuel guages if you use 2 tanks. use to have a dual tank truck, the kids would drive it. what a bummer when you think you have another tank of gas and you don't.
I had side metal tanks 12gal. ea they were bad so I did replace with plastic 18gal. tanks best thing I ever did I got 12 more gals. to run with the old tanks had no fuel gauges I use a yard stick when I added tanks added fuel gauges one for each tank I love it easy to install. And I also have a separt on off value at each tank it works great and you will always know were you stand on fuel.
