Fuel Tank Aluminum Fitting Alloy Question

I am in the process of getting my little 16' flat bottom rigged back up after three years of sitting. I finished welding the hull last week, and I am getting ready to re-rig it. In preparation I bought a new fuel tank. The vent on the fuel tank has a straight aluminum hose barb. It would be really convenient if I could swap it for a 90 degree one. The problem is nylon doesn't mix well with gasahol, and brass reacts with aluminum. Aluminum hose barbs are not so easy to find retail. I can make one easily enough, but all I have on hand is some 7075 and some 6061 in bar stock large eough to make a fitting. Anybody from Moeller read this forum? What alloy are your fittings?

Well, I made fittings from 6061 and so far they are working fine. (freshwater environment only)

Not sure why I bothered to post. No feedback in nearly 8 years. Oh, well. Maybe it will help somebody else.

Ayuh,.... In the many, many aluminum tanks I've seen, they all use brass fittings,.....
No problem with dissimilar metals,....
