Fuel Pump Help!

Hi Guys I'm new to the forum. I have just finished rebuilding my fuel pump and doing an oil injection delete on my 1988 70 HP Mercury. I have been able to identify all of the ports on the fuel pump except for one which I have highlighted in red on the picture below, can someone help me identify this port and what its function is?

Some of these pumps get a pressure pulse from 2 different crankcases.

Are there specific instructions on how to delete the oil injection on this page. I’ve attempted several searches with little luck.

Looks like a pulse hose to me.-----Any more pictures ?

Just curious as to why your deleting your oil injection system ? From all my research, owner comments and comments from mechanics, the merc oil injection system seems to be trouble free..
