The fuel gauge on my Starcraft Eurostar reads 1/2 full but I can't get any more gas in the tank. The pump just shuts off when I try.Is there a way to check the gauge to see if it is working right?

Probably loaded with corrosion...... you will either have to tackle the job of taking it apart or live with it. Does it register properly for the lower half of the tank?

Float on the sender arm is no longer floating due to fuel saturation.

Re: Fuel Guage

first question: is the tank actually full (guage/float problem) or is it actually "half" full (vent/tank leveling problem)?

...could be a short in the system. Clean all contacts from the tank to the back of the gauge. You may simply need a new float in the tank. They are cheap and easy to install. When you install new one, use liquid electrical tape to seal.
