I have an 89 sunbird Corsica 175, and today I went to top off the fuel tank to get ready to go out and no fuel came out of the vent line and after we were out for about an hour, I hit the bilge and some water and fuel came out. I had fuel in the bilge, needless to say I boogied back to the dock and called her quits for the day, but I can see fuel comming in from fuel tank area just under the engine, looks like a slow leak, but it looks like a little stream. I am wondering if I have a leak in my fuel tank and if so, how do I replace it? Any advice would be appriciated!

Re: fuel getting into bilge

can you see where all you lines connect to your tank? should be near the aft part of it. make sure none of those are whats leaking. i had to fix my leaking tank once. it was starting to rust an pit out to where fuel was starting to leak. had to cut an pry up half my deck to get my 28gal. tank out..
