Just picked up a Manatee boat being given away. Really got it for the Force motor as much as anything. The guy thought it was a Sailfish boat. Maybe because it seems to have composite stringers and the transom is strangely solid. And it sort of looks like a Sailfish hull. Just brought it home tonight, so I'll be inspecting it further tomorrow morning.

Yeah, that's been the running joke around here, FREE boat, ha. I really got it for the motor, but since the structure seems to be solid, I'm thinking...Hmmm

Aaand it's well on its way to rotten. Still feels solid, passed the knock test on the transom. But after core samples of stringers and feeling in the transom holes, it's all wet and soon to be rot. Off to the dump with it. Did get a good motor out of it, compression tested and a keeper.
