forum issue forum is gone - post count?

the forum issue forum has been cleaned out. What happens to somebodys post count. does it take those off the count? If not how does it keep the forum post count correct? If you added up everybodys personal post count it would be different from the forum count because almost a thousand have been deleted from that forum.

Nope.... as far as I can tell it does not change the count. It really never has even with all the forum changes over the years. Now if you forget your password and other glitches have been seen but, normally corrected.

The forum has been moved to an area only mods and admins can see. We were having to move too many engine related questions posted there from new members. Since most of the intial website issues have been resolved we decided to close it and give instructions on how to get in contact with us should you have a problem or question.

Your posts counts have not be affected.

Half of those posts were by people who never posted again or posted in the wrong area anyways.

That and who cares about post counts...........................maybe if they gave free boating gear for it. But since they don't its all pretty trivial

No no no. Its not about personal post count. If someone got REALLY bored and went to count all the posts on this website and compared that number to the little(big) number on the right side of the screen telling how many total posts their are on the website, The number would be significantly different.
Sorry I just think outside the box and curiosity takes over.
