Topmason , you would need at least an F-550<br />today to have the GVWR rating of 17000lbs to <br />carry the load your carring with your 67 GM 1 ton.

NOSLEEP, <br />This is true, and then I'd be afraid to use it for fear of scratchin it or something.<br />Dayumnnn, what would something like that truck cost?<br />Of course it'd have to be 4X4, big diesel, and definitely manual trans. No automatics doin this kind of hauling for me.

I used to be a big fan of American Trucks. Then "sensors" and cheap electronics happened! If you want a good truck now, you have to buy japanese. A nice big Toyota Tundra!

Problem is, I can haul that Tundra and it's total payload on my "American made" truck.
