Can you change over the outdrive ? I need and out drive that is hooked to a 350 and have one that is hooked to a 351 will they interchange?

I don't see why not, they should be the same ratio's both being V-8 engines, the couplers are different not the drives.

Depends on the drive. If it's a 233 drive, it has the wrong ratio. There may also be a ujoint shaft length difference between the Chevy and Ford drives
