I will tell you that the Holley distributor for my IH 392 Palmer marinized engine, is the same as the one used in truck engines. There was no difference. Maybe a Delco that has a metal window shutter to adjust dwell could be considered not sealed.
AND for an engine in a car running at high revs and load, there is little vacuum signal to move a vacuum advance diaphragm, the distributor will not experience full advance. Same happens in a boat engine. The only advance will be with the centrifugal weights.
