I have a 1991 Force 35 I bought last year and it sat for the year.
This year, I mounted it, bought a new seal for the fuel pump, and wired it.
The problem is, if the boat sits for any period of time (hours or days), it won't start unless I put a squirt of starting fluid in the carb. If I let it run for a few minutes after that, then it starts fine subsequently.
I'm not sure what's going on. Is it bad gas, bad fuel/oil ratio, or something else?
Has anyone had the same issue?
Thank you.
