Force 125?

Could anyone tell me what a 125 Force would be equal to in a name brand such as Merc, or Johnson? Thanks

The newer Forces have Merc. parts installed on them. As far as h.p., I've heard 125 Force's don't run as strong as 125 Merc. or 125 Johnson's....125 force owner.

THEY ARE NOT BAD ENGINE YOU HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF THEM.I HAVE A 1994 120 NEVER ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS EXCEPT FOR THE STATOR @ SWITCHBOX.NOW WITH THE NEW STATOR FROM C.D.I. RUNNING GREAT .FORCE ENGINE DO HAVE A BAD RAP.SOME PEOPLE LIKE THEM SOME HATE THEM.IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT A USED ONE DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON IT.I MYSELF NEVER PUSH IT TO FULL THROTTLE.ON MY 17 1/2 RUN AT 25 M.P.H.FAST ENOUGH FOR ME DON'T LIKE POUNDING THE WATER.

Major problem with Force now is no factory<br />parts support.Add that to their shakey reputation<br /> and it is enough to keep me away.

Mercury was doing parts support they may have parts but there will be no further parts support<br />manufacture and supply from merc. no more.
