I inherited a 16' Lund with a Force 120 ELPT recently. Last year it was taken out about 8 times. Not once was the oil mixed with the gas. A miracle it ran that long. I took it out a couple of times and it ran just fine after a tune up and a good mix in the fuel. Last weekend it took 10 tries to start. Once it got running it would die if I tried to give more than a hair on the throttle. I could throttle all the way in neutral but when I put a load on it - it died. As it is now I can run it but I can't get more than 280 RPMS out of it. New fuel filter, new plugs, good compression on all 4 cylinders, new prop, timing is about as good as I can get it since I can't get it to go wide open.

You sure you checked the compression correctly.
Hard to believe the compression is good after no oil.

All plugs out, (wires grounded), Throttle at full.

What kind of compression readings are you getting?

They are all within specs. From top to botton: 150, 170, 175, 150. It has staggered compression so the top and bottom cylinders will read this way. Weird.
