Does anyone know the torque setting for the flywheel nut on a 2002 f 100?

Guess I should of been more specific. If you know would you mind providing me with that information?

DJ,
I don't know for sure on your engine but on my Suzuki the torque is listed right on the flywheel in kilograms. Did you look?

No I didn't look but I will. Didn't even think of that. Thanks

45lbs-ft is something I recall, but I don't remember what engine.

You might want to work on your recall skills. Not even close.

How can you even hazard a guess if you don't even remember what engine it was that you thought had a flywheel torque nut of 45 lb-ft? Some propeller nuts have higher torque values than 45 lb-ft.

Have you been visited by Mr. Al Zimer lately?

The Yamaha service manual says that it is 137 lb-ft.

No, I had two strokes last summer. That's where my memory went. I am taking therapy for my recall skills. The only reason I offered was that nobody else (including you) had offered.
