I am curious how you guys are flipping your boats over and/or getting them off the trailer. I know ... in time, I'm gonna have to flip mine over to do the sanding-etc on the bottom, but I'm at a standstill of how this is done safely and with no damage to your boat? How are you doing it ????
Thanks, Tim

Put some cross-members across the trailer.Secure them. You will have to get them under the boat. Pad them with something so you don't scratch the finish. Once you have the boat up off the bunks and/or rollers, slide it to one side but not too far. Roll the boat up on one side and over on it's top.
That is the simple explanation. I haven't accounted for size, weight, what's on the deck, location, etc.
Unless this is a small boat you're going to need help. Maybe some overhead
lifting points. You might want to tie down the trailer or have it hitched to the
truck.

Just flipped my hull, click the first link and read the last pages to see pics on how I did it by my lonesome self ;) That boat is 17'4" long.

Prep is the key. Make a plan, work the plan. It's a daunting task, but boats of all sizes and working conditions have been flipped. Use that info to flip yours!

Thank You gentlemen for all your answers. Hopefully when time comes, I can flip mine successfully. Mine will have the cap on it.
