Re: Fleetwing Boats Coco Beach ,Fl.

Fleet Wing boats were manufactured by Brevard Boat Works, 412 Factory Street, P.O. Box 309, Cocoa Fl. Their MFG Code was BVD. They went out of business May 7, 1976 at 5:00 pm est. They jumped in early to glass which resulted in utilizing to much wood/glass combined. The late 60's boats were junk in as the wood rotted away, but by the 70's they ditched the wood and built nice boats which are around today. Built with much more glass compared to modern boats they are like 65 caddy compared to a Kia. They are tanks, heavy but solid and with modern HP, a nice low end boat to own.

Start a new thread please. This one is old and should remain asleep unless awakened by the thread starter and he hasn't returned since 2009, five years ago.
