Flappers mercruiser 260 5.7 350,

I remove this flappers from exhaust out my engine clean them up they seems to be in good shape, my question is are they supposed to look like this or there was a rubber or plastic cover that melted and its gone , I've browsed thru various boat parts and look for flaps but i couldn't find any similar they all are plastic, my engine its an 87' I know things have changed , any ideas? Those are junk! Put new ones in.

also id check the exhaust all way to foot that plastic and rubber pieces should be in there some where. got hot & melted

Bond-o you forgot the ...Ayuh.. lol its that Goofy? BTW i looked on iboats for the flappers couldn't find it can you recommend where can I get them?.

Well, I can't say Ayuh(Yep) when the answer is No, now can I,..??
Ayuh can mean alotta things alotta ways, but it rarely means, Nope....

I'm pretty sure iboats has 'em,...
Search 'em up by serial number range...

If not, Mercruiser should...
