Pressure tanks have twin hoses with a twin connector. One hose is for air to be pumped into the tank to pressurize it, other hose is for fuel to flow under pressure from tank to motor. Connector is metal, they never made a twin connector of plastic. Furthermore, the twin connector will not fit a single line motorside connector. Now, it would be possible to cobble together twin connectors on both the tankside and motorside locations and only use one line. But why would anybody do that?
