Alright, I have a 20' Trophy Walk Around Cuddy (2002FF). The fish wells "fish boxes" are located in deck of the boat and are designed to hold the fish you catch and plan to keep. I have been less than impressed with these fish wells. They collect rainwater, and while the boat has a pump to remove the water, the boat has one pump for two fish wells so unless you have an equal amount of water in both tanks, the pump is less than effective in removing the water.
My questions are as follows: How do other Trophy boat owners use these fish wells? Did you drill holes in the fishwells to allow rainwater to drain into the bilge, then install a cork to allow the use of ice/water in the fish wells? Has anyone cut holes into fishwells to recess a cooler "Great Lakes fishbox". What about the use of some type of liner, etc?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, -V
