We are looking to buy a new boat that will be used for both fishing and skiing. Primarily fishing so we want something decked out with all the livewells, electronics and storage. Looking to stay in the low $30k. We are thinking about the 2020 Tracker Pro Guide V-175 Combo. It comes with the ski pylon and a 115HP motor.

My son is 6'5" and 235 lbs. He mostly likes to wakeboard but does some slalom skiing also. Will the 115 have enough to drag him out of the water?

Any other recommendations for a fish and ski? We are on a small lake so we don't need anything deep water.

todays 115 4 strokes give u plenty of power.. consider switching out props to a 4 blade for water sports and a 3 for fishing and flying around... that 115 will move you in the mid 40's i'd think
