i always build in livewells, pumps for fresh water, recirculating systems & lights, but in your case, from what you have said, i'd just go with a totally portable livewell... carry it in and out. any cooler works well, will keep water cold and you can add a clip to hold a battery operated pump, & drill a hole for the airline tubing.

I will be making a cooler live well from an old bilge pump and misc fittings.

I had started a thread last fall, others here posted some nice info on the subject.

Haven't made it yet but I have most of the parts. Lots of info on the web on this. I'm doing it so it can be easily moved between two boats.
