I took this picture at about 3 pm just North of Phoenix. :) Practically the whole state has been getting this for 36 hours now!! My favorite lake (Bartlett) should be full to the brim in no time!

... that aint no bull. was sucking water out of the boat cover at 1am this morning, the lift cover pole broke and made for a great pond. the irony of having all the water in the boat is just too much...

That was a huge storm. Very unusual for here. It rained consistantly for at least 30 hours.

I drove back from Sedona, Friday AM, it rained the whole way and didn't stop until about 10:00 AM here (Friday).

We got about 1.2" here in the east valley.

I have a friend who is in Baja for the winter and she said it poured down there too.

I just got home, but I guess we got some here too. A little snow on the local mountains etc. But I just checked the Colorado River Forecast center deal thing that I use to track snow pack and river runoff, and it is very interesting how much this storm focused on Arizona. The green shows a "significant rise" in all of the tributaries etc.

Edit: I guess these pics don't last very long hosted at their site, I reposted after I saw the red X

Hmmmmmm and we are getting 10-18" of snow this week! Right about equal to that 1.2" of rain.
