Thanks Dozer, The guy actually used crushed glass, said it would clean & etch the aluminum better to help the new primer & paint grip/hold much better... Sounded good to me! LOL

OK, so here it is all etch primed as promised, a lil past my intended time frame BUT, Finally actual progress going the other way!

can yall believe I still have this boat and as far as I can tell I still have everything!!!!!!

LOTS has changed, Life got tough but I think I have it under control and hope to start on and finish this thing this year!!!

I rebuilt the trailer and have started the transom! wish me more luck, its been a while so i have a lot of RE-READING to do...

Thanks guys, life is crazy. But this boat isn’t going anywhere except the lake when I’m finished! When I actually finish it is another story. I bought the wood, glue and coating for it last weekend for the transom. So I’ll be working on that as time permits. I’ll get some pics and post as well.
