Any tricks to installig exhust billows, the transom side was sort of easy, the outdrive side seems impossible!!!
Figured out away by chance. Went to Harbor frieght and braught a 16" long pair of needle nose pliers with a 90 degree angle on the end. The tip is blunt so as to NOT put a hole in the new bellows. With the outdrive removed and the bell housing in the the down position I slipped the pliers past the vertical shift shaft and GENTLY worked the end of the bellows over the exhaust opening from the inside(with the plirers closed, the 90 deg. angle is the trick.). With the bell housing down your not trying to streach the bellows and I did it in about a 1/2 hour. I hope this helps anyone else who has to preform this fun task.

I used the tool, and it was still quite annoying to fuss with the hose clamp. The tool is DEFINITELY worth it.
I had to remove the shift shaft from my Alpha Gen I Bell Housing, though, because it interfered with the tool. It was easy to remove the shift shaft, since I had replaced all components with new, anyway.

I struggled with the exaust bellow for about 2 hours before the wife came out and put it on in about 10 minutes.

The tool might be worth the money.

I would buy the updated BOOT style exhaust before I bought a tool

Just to keep things proper, the tube is not an update, the tube is used by DIYers so they don't have to buy the tool and do the job right.
The OEM part is still the BELLOWS, not the TUBE.
