Anyone out there have experience making the change?

A few questions:

1. Is the noise that much greater?
2. Ease of installation?
3. Overall benefit?

1. Is the noise that much greater? = Only on plane and not that much but you will notice it
2. Ease of installation? = Easier to install then the boot
3. Overall benefit? = For your size motor there would be no benifit

Ayuh,.... Answer to #3, is #2,...... ease of install,....

It is slightly louder but honestly I like the way it sounds. Its not loud like through hulls would be, but it doesn't sound like a sewing machine either.
