Evinrude Tracker 25hp UNKOWN YEAR UNKNOWN MODEL

I just purchased Evinrude Tracker 25hp. Electric start only outboard. I didn't notice that the tag on mounting bracket was completely blank? No model no serial So no year.

It appears to be an extra long shaft as it's at least 25 inches from the mounting bracket to bottom of the skeg.

The carburetor is stamped fp432700 and it has an electric primer. Body is black. Cowl marked 25hp Evinrude Tracker.
Red 7 pin connector for ignition harness.

I couldn't believe that the marker plastic tag was blank when I got it home. Prior owner didn't know just it was late 80's early 90's.

Any help would be appreciated. Once I attempt to set this up on my boat or if I need parts I would be at a loss to ordered anything.

Look on the block for a quarter sized silver core plug, might have a model number on it.

Thanks . I just checked nothing. I know what your talking about as my old Johnson had that.
Also a metal tag.

That style carb and under flywheel powerpack says its at least an '89.
An Evinrude dealer can identify it with the serial number.
What kind of parts you need?

edit: Looks like someone zip tied a power pack next to the fuel pump. I bet you'll find that disc with the serial number hidden underneath.

Behind the CDi was the quarter size freeze plug. Has only the serial number no model. Searched forever no cross referece to model.
Called Evinrude tech line. Gave them the serial and he gave me the year and model. 1991 TE25ELEI.

Where did you call? Im located in Puerto RIco and I called the Carribean division and they informed me they only have records from 2001 since OMC went bankrupt on 1997 and destroyed all info from older years. I also suspect my engine to be in that years 1989-1992. Let me know ASAP I'm suffering without my model number.
