Evinrude Sportwin 70's model

I am restoring an 9.5 hp Evinrude Sportwin. There are 2 wires coming aound by the carb that don't go anywhere. Does anyone know what they are?

on all of my 9.5's, the only wires I have are for the kill switch. They should have connectors and follow on up to under the flywheel or go to the kill switch.

can ya post a picture?

I too have those wires. Mine are attached to the kill switch. Where do they plug in under the carb? Does the flywheel have to be removed. My quest is to get this piece o CRAP I call a boat in the water by June. Couldn't afford a complete motor so I suffer the mechanical abyss. Thanks
