evinrude ski-twin electric start 1995 i believe? help

I have an evinrude ski-twin electric start with a serial no. E01193 and model no. 335538. Ive been researching and believe its a 1995 but my dad thinks it older.. can someone help me out with this..any new info is appreciated i want to learn as much as possible about it...i dont know if it starts yet

Dad is right. It is a 1965, electric start, long shaft. At least it left the factory as a long shaft. Some have been converted back and forth from long to short and back several times. Look again, that number is probably 35553B. Don't worry 'bout the B, means nothing. They were all B.
