I have a 1992 Evinrude 150hp EXEN. My VRO is leaking from where the bottom fuel line is attached. I have replaced the fuel line, put on a SS clamp, still leaks, I think it may be cracked can't afford to fork out several hundred bux for a new one. I want to put in a conversion kit. Does anyone know the model number of the kit I need or are they all the same?? I googled it and they all look the same...

Call a few dealers.----They might have pumps laying around for parts.----Or find---mastertechmarine----For information on parts and instructions for VRO repairs.----I know that I would not be buying a new pump !

the conversion pumps are under 100 bux which seems the way to go just don't know what one I would need. That pump thats on there now had the VRO which was deleted and looks quite intricate, I like simple and effective

The Mastertech web site is maxrules. They will have a pre-mixed fuel pump listed for your model.

They make a replacement VRO style pump that does not have oil injection for around $160. Sorry I don't remember the part #.

I just ordered one for my motor, $220 from Mastertech. There are several on ebay for $29-$89 but are not very well made and not worth the headache from reading reviews.. I hate leaks and cheaply made parts...

I have found no matter the seller, if it has phillips head screws they are chininesem pumps. And you cannot interchange a OEM fuel pump rebuild kit as they dont fit. I had several customers do the conversion and all but one had problem with them.
