Someone gave me a 9.9 HP Evinrude outboard, model #104245, serial #E0003109. Does anyone know the proper oil/gas ratio to use? Also, does anyone know what year this engine is?

Thanks
msudvm, you'll find the answers to your questions and a lot more good info about your outboard here:

http://www.pugetsoundanglers.org/Fishing Info/Johnson 9.9_15.htm

OMC used the same basic design for nearly 20 years, my '88 Johnson 9.9 still runs as well as it did the day I bought it new. You should use a 50:1 gasil mix, and from that info it looks like you've got a 1974 model.
