Can anyone tell me what kind of ignition this is in detail?
Need to get a manual for this engine
Assume its a 87 model from the serial number
Serial # G1418711
Model # E4oelcud

It's CD ignition ... a shop manual will give all the detail you want.

the model # is a code #, you just got lucky guessing 87 from the serial number. the only manual to use is here, aftermarkets are very lacking. http://www.outboardbooks.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=models.main&year=1987&ID=104906
