Am currently working on 3 3hps 2 Johnsons '55 & '59 and a '55 Evinrude. '59 is finished runs great. The Evinrude I just started tonight and appears to run good, but the high end rpms seem high. Tomorrow I'll try to rig a tach. When I got the Evinrude, it didn't have a foot. I had a bad powerhead 4 hp and used the foot from it. It is a weedless like all the others, but had a 3 bladed prop. I changed the prop to one of the 2 bladed and it still seems high. Did the 4 hp have a different gearing? What props are available and where can I get one? Iboats doesn't list any.
