evinrude 1977 55hp no power

i have a 1977 55hp it will run at low speed and idel but at half throttel it will stay running but have no power i've changed the coil and replaced the fuel lines and tank

Welcome, Gator!<br />What do you get when you open it clear up????<br />Is the max advance timing arm moving fwd??? make sure the arm is moving fwd when you advance the throttle...it should begin to move just slightly before the throttle plates start to open.<br />Have you done a compression check on this yet???

thanks for your help..i checked the compression its within limits the advance arm is moving to the open postion. i also set the timing 4*before top dead center and 19*wide open would you have any other ideas<br /> thanks gator
