I had a quick question, I was thinking about putting EVA form in my bass boat, however I was concerned about the lids. Does the EVA form bend around the lids like carpet without cracking or tearing, or does it just sit on top of the lids.

It can bend a bit, but isn't as flexible as carpet. I wouldn't try to wrap a lid with it. I would expect it to start peeling away from those corners pretty quick.

I concur with Mike. I bought some of the cheap Amazon EVA, but I can't really recommend it. It shrinks some and the adhesive is suspect. I have some on my cooler that is permanently stained from fish blood.

It sits on top. You trim it back from the edges

Every EVA foam is iffy. Even brands like SeaDek and FauxTeak.

The adhesives tend to come loose, and it stains easily

I personally like the Line-X XS650 as it's permanent and developed for fishing boats by off-shore fisherman in Sarasota Florida and doesn't stain
