I have a few older Eska boat motors. They all have Tecumseh engines. One is a 4.0hp and another is a 5.0hp.
These motors, and the carburetors, while quite old, appear to be nearly identicle to the newer versions. Can anyone suggest a modern replacement carburetor I can use on these old Tecumsehs? I understand that I would have to switch out my throttle and choke shaft/lever assemblies. I would just like to know if anyone has done this, and what they might have used with any success?
