Attaching 2 more pics. The access port is cut in, only to leave me scratching my head again. The inner fiberglass sleeve prevents me from putting a wooden block inside the hull for the forestay mounting hardware. I removed the old, rotting block from the bow deck, but now think I'll have to go with the same type of exterior block. Maybe I'll add a cat bag, just so cutting a big hole in the boat isn't a total waste.
