'07 Yamaha F225TXR - 140 hrs. Last weekend my motor, which has NEVER given me ANY problems, choked and died out multiple times after running for a few minutes. I would get it re-started by pumping the primer bulb, then it would die again after a few minutes. I put it back on the trailer and went home, and did some simple tests using the service manual. Both high and low pressure pumps work as they should, low pressure pump cycles as it should. The engine never sputtered or died at the house, just ran like it was supposed to. Fuel filters are fresh and so is the gas, and I use fuel stab. regularly. Could it have been a one-time computer malfunction that fixed itself after being off for an extended period?? Thanks!
