Electrcal issue

Hello, looking for some advice on an issue I have. I have an inboard 3.0 and will be cruising across the lake and dask lights flicker and rpm gauge going crazy and motor seems to be losing electrcal power, any advice on what to check?

What brand motor, year and size?

It's a 94 yamaha 3.0L4

start at the battery and move your way to the helm pulling apart every connection there is, cleaning it shiny and clean enough your mother in law would eat off them, then put the connection back together and seal it with marine electrical varnish and move on to the next.

you have bad connections (plural)
