Re: Early Senility

Well I can not laff at you as much as laff at myself :D. Hang on mate we are all on the same @#$% deck when it comes to forgeting where we put stuff for our boats. It's just that some of us forget a lot more readily than others. Must be something to do with being a male as well as aging. So all I can say to all those out there who are still looking for stuff you know you have and or had  "DON'T LOOK FOR IT JUST BITE THE BULLET AND BUY ANOTHER ONE !!"(keep reciept handy) Then and only then will it turn up right in front of you

Some times the only good thing about life is that you are ALIVE!

You see, this is the beauty with being married and having two children. You have so many more people to blame when you can't find stuff you misplaced. :D

see this is the difference between men and women, were all here laughing at ourselves and our common faults. Women would be blaming us! Who brought the beer?

Just remember the Man's Prayer.

here is a little trick I used to my advantage. Get a tennisball (or better, a rubber ball that bounces for ever), throw it in your garage and you'll find your lost items within 50 cm of the spot where the ball came to rest. Works 9 times out of 10 I swear !!!

Honestly, if I let a rubber ball loose in the garage it would bounce forever off all the junk and then I'd lose that too. Prob next to the missing parts, but both gone nonetheless.

Which is the answer to the question,

"If a man speaks in the forest and no woman is there to hear him, is he still wrong?"

Its easy to put something small into a drawer.Problem is which drawer. I deal with this by putting the items in a small zip lock bag AND attaching IT TO THE ITEM THEY GO ON.. works for me

i never think ahead, so by the time i am done using something i just put it down anywhere, and forget where i put it when i need it a week later.

i guess i have a short attention span, and don't plan ahead

There is a bilge pump float switch SOMEWHERE in my house.

So yes, I buy stuff and then loose it, and I'm only 42. :(

I frequently walk into a room; then stop and wonder; why did I come in here?

We all have those moments!

Recently, I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone; he called me to ask for another friend's phone number. The phone number was in my cell phone, so while talking to him, I became increasingly infuriated that I couldn't locate my cell phone to retrieve the number.

Because I was talking on it. :D

Caught a nice trout last year and put it in a plastic bag in the trunk of the car. :D

My wife took the fish out of the car - three weeks later - in the middle of a hot summer.:eek::eek:
