Go to the ign. switch and put a jumper between the hot wire and the Run terminal then turn your key to Start and see what happens. I am wondering if it is a faulty switch,or bad wiring from dash to motor

I put a new trigger on and it runs now. But it only runs when the cold start lever is up all the way. Even then it just idols, it was a missing a bit too. I can put it in gear and rev it up still has a little miss.

Clean the cap and check the carbon as far as the miss, you should also check the belt timing and if you had the dist disc off make sure it's on right side up either thing will give slow timing and slow idle.
