I was wondering if someone could post pictures of all the vacuum and fuel lines and where they are suppose to attach.
When i bought my boat, it seems they had connected hoses incorrectly and i attempted to fix it. they had a small "T" attached the the primer hose. i found a picture of the hose going into the front throttle blade opening, so i now have a hose going into there to prime it.
The problem that i am having is, when i first start the engine it will not stay running unless i give it a little squirt of fuel from the primer every 3-4 seconds for about 30 seconds. after that it runs on its own. it doesnt seem to like to idle low for very long either, but that i can deal with.
What i have done so far:
Carb rebuild.
the emulsion tube (brass with the holes in it and the end is slotted for a screw driver) had to be fixed. someone tried taking it out and ended up pinching it with pliers and started a long crack up the side. i soldered that up so it wouldnt suck in air.
fuel pump rebuild.
power pack
coils
wires
plugs
set timing to 26* @ WOT in gear using the flat side of the half moon shaped piece on the starter housing (i hope thats correct)
