DYI Ram Mount

Has anyone tried to make there own fishfinder ram mount. I'm trying to think of a way to raise my fishfinder about 12 inch from my boat deck. I was thinking about using PVC, however mounting a flat piece of PVC to a PVC pipe seems impossible.

gluing PVC to PVC may require flame treatment prior to using the solvent based glue

mickyryan has done it a few times.

to prevent the piece of PVC from being too floppy to support your fish finder, you are going to need larger diameter PVC
