Its definitely BC oops I slowed it down frame by frame and got BC25237** I just can't get the last two digits, I am positive about the BC the numbers not so much they are pretty blurry so I hope it helps....

Thank you......i will be bringing this to the attention of the police.
I was just semi involved with a death on the water here (in the very area that this vid was shot on). The police are still investigating.....and as a witness, they want to talk to me ...(four the fourth time). After we get done with that issue......they will see this vid. !

How do we know the other boat driver didnt have a remote wireless kill switch?

The very same way we know he didn't have a spotter and didn't wear a life jacket while wake surfing......
Yeah its cool.......but at what possible cost?.............ON MY WATER ! We have family's that play here.

This stunt is just wrong.

After seeing this video I did some searching on you-tube, this guy is not alone, there are several videos of different people doing the same thing. I guess it is the ultimate grail or bragging wright in young wake surfing crowd.

Re: Dumb, Just plain dumb.

OK let's sum it up.

If a trained stunt man taking all the right precautions did it, it is a cool stunt. Think about all the great stunts in every James Bond movie. Many of them set Guiness World records. By "all the right precautions" I would include the cleared lake, remote controls, hidden crew, etc.

On the other hand, if it was done AS IT APPEARS--a guy by himself on a public lake with no back-up, cut-off, etc. it is unreasonably dangerous to others on the lake, and to his boat but who cares. This includes the completely false notion that the camera guy could leap into the run-away boat and take control. This has been discussed before and it is not a reasonable option. Getting out of an unmanned running boat is inexcusable.

Here is what may have a lot of you stirred up: if it was done "professionally" it will be made to look like it was not--that is the desired effect. We don't pay to see the safety net under James Bond.

So can we all agree now? It could be OK; it could be not OK. We need more facts to know.

Set the thread and just got out and surfed behind it unmanned, eh? (Kiddn' :D)

Well I had a few comments along the way, but didn't expect it to take off like it did. I still agree that its a dumb and dangerous stunt, reguadless of the defenders.

No one at the helm is a safty violation, the same as aiming a loaded gun at someones head. Say this guy could go on vacation in Davy Jone's locker and help the gene pool.

Wow, talented though. I was amazed at how straight the boat traveled.
Just going to say, they make a "auto pilot" system for boats now, but it is meant to be used so that you can same the exact same run every time, or so that some random friend can pull you, they just gotta watch for you to fall and for other boats. Some things will always be abused....

Notice how the filmer never got close to boat, to show nobody laying down,I believe there was someone there, otherwise they would have filmed it to prove his balls.

Not only Darwin Award-level stupidity, but also illegal in any jurisdiction I've ever heard of in the US.
