I am re-wiring my boat and I have a Voltage Sensitive Relay and a 3-Way (1/2/Both) Switch. I was wondering what the best way to wire these together to allow the VSR to work whilst underway but also be able use the switch to isolate the batteries if needed for an emergency start or for charging at home.
The switch has 3 terminals - I assume Bat 1, Bat 2 and Common and the VSR has Two terminals marked Sense 1 and Sense 2
If i wire both batteries to Bat 1 and Bat 2 on the Switch and then 2 wires to Sense 1 and Sense 2 on the VSR would this work and would this be the best way ?
Any sugestions appreciated
