Dual Batteries

I just bought a Rinker 280 and it's currently wired this way:
Boat Battery (house/ engine) single battery with selector switch - batt on or off
Generator battery - wired with batt selector switch on or off only

I would like to have the (seemingly isolated) generator battery also accessible as house battery for obvious reasons.
Any suggestions on the easier way to do this? Perhaps a new Perko batt 3 way switch?

I think it's a good idea to use something to connect Gen Bat to Start Bat in case motor Bat will not start the motor. I don't agree to use the Gen Bat as a house Bat extension for added power. A gen Bat is last ditch to help get Motor started, and with that if motor doesn't start, start the Gen first and turn on Bat charger. Next if needed combine Gen Bat with Start Bat

I would separate house loads and add a stand alone House Bat with a switch or relay to combine start Bat with House Bat if needed to start motor. Would also add a ACR to keep House Bat charged

I would do it like this. This uses ACR and relay to combine which is an easy add on, or could replace the relay with a 3 way switch
