Ordered a blue tooth cell phone accessory for my wife and it was shipped from China! First time I got a package directly from China. Had a customs declarations sheet attched to package. You would think that the retailer would buy in bulk from a China importer, then resale in the US. But this drop shipping from China means that costs are cut to the minimum. From the manufacturer to my door and the only people getting a cut are the web site owner, the manufacturer and the US postal service.
This is the same product available at the local stores, just not in the clear plastic retail package. It came in a plain white box with a label stating that it was not for retail sale, but is the same product available retail. Package included the blue tooth ear piece, charger, warrantee, and owners manual.
The whole business of retail, and even online shopping is changing so fast its amazing.
