My father just bought new electric cannon downriggers for his new boat, he doesn't have the realses yet so I thought I would get them for him. What do you guys recommend? He fishes here in the Puget Sound for Salmon.
I have these http://downriggerrelease.com/ after using Blacks (which I still have for pulling 11" blades down past 100') and scotty and offshore pinch pads, band busters and about everything else. Chamberlain really nailed it.
Wow those look like a really good option compared to scottys I fish down to 350 feet here in georgia strait ( north of puget sound ) and the ability to varie the rod side and the fish side will be a big bonus
